I joined IBM with a remit to bridge engineering and design within IBM Cloud, delivering the foundation for a cohesive user experience.
- Established and led the cross-disciplinary team implementingthe IBM Cloud Platform UI
- Launched cloud component library, which evolved into the IBM Carbon Design System
- Won the IBM Eminence & Excellence aware for building bare metal server provisioning service
- Spearheaded transition of IBM Cloud Platform UI from Dojo monolith to React microservices

Platform wide UI infrastructure
There were over 100 product solutions that presented themselves on the IBM Cloud Platform. These products were built by independent teams, and the platform level experience needed to unify these different products and applications.
- Created a command line tool to create a consistent application shell within the IBM Cloud Platform
- Built universal experiences for the platform; e.g. billing, IAM, user profiles, etc
- Improved experience demonstrated value and clear external recognition. "IBM crossed the vertical axis from Niche Players to Visionaries in the Gartner 2017 IaaS Magic Quadrant".
